Lions & Tigers & Bears, OH MY!

I haven't been off to see the wizard.

But this past week, I have been to that place in Oz where those infernal flying monkeys buzz around your head and dive bomb you.

I've been visiting that place where just the thought of Munchkins dancing around would cause you to pick one up and toss them head first at Galinda and her irritatingly sweet voice.

This week week I have been visiting the land where the yellow brick road does not reach. The land where the roads aren't paved in gold.

It is the land where you are forbidden to take your thyroid meds for two weeks, and as a result you also forget to take your hormones as well.

In this land for the duration of my stay, I will be donning a bathing suit, in my whiteness and all, humming the tunes of WICKED. The bathing suit will help with the hot flashes, the humming I'm hoping will help me get to a happy place for the sake of my family.

Please pray for them.

I hope they make it out of this land alive.

How long does it take hormones to kick back in? Maybe I'll ask one of the flying monkeys.

So let me try to understand.....the monkeys took off with the thyroid meds and Galinda ate your hormones?
Girl.......what are you thinking?
Thyroid meds are more important than estrogen anyday of the week and twice on Sunday.
The thyroid rules the universe.

I hope for the family's sake and the sake of everyone in your zip code that the hormones kick in within 2-3 days. I recommend NOT driving....road rage may occur.

Love your heart. Hope you get feeling better soon. In the meantime....have some chocolate.

Well, I don't have Thyroid problems...so I have no words for you there.
But oh Yeah....the hormones. WHAT A CURSE.
I can't get the same Meds for my Menopausal self that I used in Utah...and they worked great by the way...they don't have the same ones here in Canada..........and I have been a mess ever since.
bouts of depression
not to mention a new marriage and complete new lifestyle and away from my kids ....isn't enough to deal with
hot flashes strong enough to ignite 3 alarm fire call
night sweats that leave me feeling like I need a life jacket

you get the picture.

Hang in there. That yellow brick road will show up somedayl....or you can chuck one of those bricks right at someones forehead.
ahhhh.....now that felt good.
love ya

How appropriate, your verifier says bulliter.

Ha ha As in you're going to have to bite the bulliter.

Or, you're so full of bullit. What a bulliter!

I bet you'll use some of those phrases over the next few weeks.

I'm sorry girlfriend. Good luck to you.

Robin-you are soooo kind...always thinking of me. That's what I love about you!

I hope you are feeling better by now. The land of crazed hormones is NOT a happy place to be. I can't believe my mother survived her 7 daughters.

Hey April.....I'm trying to decide if I should have bitterness about your 83 degree weather today.
I'm gonna have to think on that one.
