AND IN THE END......

He's home safe and sound. It was a great experience to meet him at the little airport we have here in our little town. The coziness of the airport makes it that much more of an intimate experience for the missionary returning along with his family and friends.

He served honorably and well. He has stories that would make you squirm. His white shirt was not so white. Grey as a matter of fact. But, he was home. Safe and sound.

My boy is home.

He is entering a new phase of his life. I am excited for what the future holds for him. I hopeful in these trying and uncertain times. That's what faith can do for you. That's the brightness that a newly returned missionary brings home with him. I highly recommend it!

Woohoo April...so happy to hear your son's home safe and sound even if the shirt is grey. I can only imagine the excitement you have and the new RM look your son's wearing on his face.

I can't wait to see pix and stories that go with the pix.

Oh Anjeny....the grey shirt brought more tears to my eyes than seeing him! I realized how hard he had it there! PS...the pics are below the story...but I will be telling more stories too!

Miss you Mona! But I love seeing my boy more!!!

NHC thanks a bunch! The hubby usually shies away from the camera. We mock him on his "smile". We were all so excited for the evening!

So happy for your family! I am sure my son is wearing grey shirts too, since he has been washing them by hand for 16 months.

Congrats!

Kazzy, I can GUARANTEE his shirts are grey! But they are still so cute! Chase said that they never knew what color the water would be when they turned on the tap....EWWWW!

T, I know! I'm still walking on air! And the shirt is already in the trash! We got him 2 new sparkly white shirts! I love TJ Maxx!

Dede, I was too excited and nervous to cry! I thought I would ball! I even had the tissue ready, but only a few tears and ALL smiles!
