When The Answer Is No

My wish for my sister did not come true.
Tears have been shed.
At times like this they begin to flow freely again.
I know she is hurting.
She has loved this beautiful baby.
We all have.
I know that my sister would not have changed a thing.
She has given this little girl a wonderful start.
Hope.
Love.
Stability.
Belonging.
Boundaries.
Family.
This is what we all desire in life.
My sister is a hero.
My sister is my hero.
The tears will stop ........

Oh, I am assuming it was a foster child kind of experience. So sorry for her loss. You are a great sister to have as a teammate.

Hugs and blessings. I hope that time will make the memories sweet and not painful.
You are in our prayers.

April I am so sorry, for all of you. How lucky the little girl was to be able to get her start with such a great family and with so much love that she will be able to take with her, as she makes her way in this world. Sending much love, hugs and of course kleenex your way.

I love that photo of you and your sister.
I do not know what happened --and it HURTS and sometimes makes us angry when the answer is NO.
Hard to get through.
She will ----and I am so sorry that tears had to be shed

I know sometimes things can hurt so bad that you think you will literally CHOKE on the sobs swelling up in your throat.
But we always find a way through.

love to you both.

I wish I had a majic wand to make this all better. The pain will never go completely away but it will diminish with time. Big hug to both of you. I hate it when life gives us opportunities for growth. Words are completely inadequate and pretty much useless at times like these.

I'm so sorry... I had a friend that was a foster parent... they tried to adopt a couple of kids. It was heart wrenching each time the answer was no.
